MEET YOUR STATIONER
My name is Aryn and I am a Boerne, Texas native that found herself back in her hometown after living in Seattle for many years. I attended Savannah College of Art and Design as an Illustration major before working as a Graphic Designer at an advertising firm for a few years. Invitation design is the perfect niche for me to be able to use my calligraphy services, illustration skills, and design background all while working for myself and providing for my two precious boys. I love to work with color, high-end printing methods, and scheming up custom, out-of-the-box ideas that perfectly capture your story. If you’re looking for an elevated invitation experience, I am your stationer.
My studio mark is rooted in my maiden name, Mangiafico, an Italian surname that translates to “fig eater.” Growing up, it was often shortened playfully to “eatafig,” a phrase that became a small but meaningful part of my identity (and my original AOL chat username!). Across Mediterranean cultures, figs have long symbolized abundance, prosperity, and fertility, making them a natural emblem for weddings and the beginning of a shared life.
At the center of the mark is a golden oriole, a bird known for its love of ripe fruit and often found among fig trees. The oriole reaching for the fig is a quiet nod to the meaning of my name itself, taking in the fruit and its symbolism of nourishment and abundance. Birds have long served as messengers in art and folklore, making the oriole a fitting symbol for the role of paper and correspondence in sharing life’s most meaningful news. Together, the fig and the messenger bird reflect celebration, connection, and the passing of joyful stories from one generation to the next.
My best friend is my 12 year old French Bulldog Tilly. You may see her pop up on my social media every now and then. She is, in fact, the employee of the month, every month. But now she has competition with my two boys, Juneau and Finneas!
It is very important that my clients understand that here at Aryn Graves we do not discriminate based on gender identity, sexual orientation, the color of your skin, disabilities or religion. In fact, what makes our couples so extraordinary and unique are their differences and we choose to celebrate that. I am here to amplify all of the wonderful things that make your relationship worthy of celebrating and putting it on paper.
I look forward to the honor of working with you!
